As a witness to the miraculous wonders God can work in the lives of those who believe in His son, and live by His Word, I would like to present to you a major project that our Historic Committee is currently undertaking. The focus of this effort is entitled “The Bishop Joshua Henry Jones Genealogy Project”, which presents the life of our illustrious namesake, his children, and living descendents. To date, God has made possible a memorable reunion of the families of three of the Bishop’s children! Although this effort continues to evolve, we invite you to learn of his life as a slave, and his eventual rise to significance in African Methodism, academia, and various communities throughout the country.
